Designed for teachers and youth group leaders, this workshop is a whistle-stop introduction to directing young people with Director and Facilitator Abigail Sewell.Date: 20th April 2021Cost: Free!

In the session you will cover how to approach a script and prepare for directing a production. 
You will also learn practical exercises to engage young people in
rehearsals. Participants must be prepared to take on the role of actor
and director. By the end of the session you’ll have the necessary tools
to ensure that you’re confident and equipped in the rehearsal room. 
Abigail’s work is driven by the transformative power of storytelling.
Her passion lies in reaching new audiences with untold stories that
reflect and challenge society. She is motivated by art’s potential for
collective healing and specialises in working with young people and
community groups as a drama facilitator.
 
Abigail is an Education Associate Practitioner at RSC, an Associate
Artist at National Youth Theatre and a Trustee at Young Vic and
Represent Theatre.
