LEAN was the official education partner for London Borough of Culture 2022. Our priority was to ensure that every school and educational facility in the borough was kept informed about the news and exciting opportunities that took place over the year.
During the year, LEAN recruited ‘Cultural Connectors’ from schools and educational settings; named individuals that we regularly share bulletins with, who in turn act as an advocate sharing this information with their colleagues. We also hosted termly events, bringing together educators and artists to try out new activities and hear more about future plans.
As part of the ongoing legacy of Borough of Culture, LEAN will continue to engage with our Cultural Connectors list, sharing information, updates and opportunities in a monthly newsletter. If you would like to sign up as a Cultural Connector for your school or setting you still can:

The Lewisham Cultural Update newsletter will go out to Cultural Connectors on the third Thursday of each month. If you are an arts or cultural organisation, or artist running activity specifically for schools please get in touch so that we can help you spread the word.
