We invite you to join us for a day of choreographic workshops designed specifically for experienced dancers, teachers, youth dance leaders and young people (morning only).

Offering a refreshing and accessible take on contemporary choreography, The Making Space Day workshops will draw on extensive research carried out in preparation for Charlotte Spencer’s Cycle Stories. Using Morden Hall Park as your stage, the day will take you on a playful journey exploring the landscape.
10:00am – 12:30pm Choreographic Space Workshop
For experienced dancers, teachers, youth dance leaders and young people
With mp3 players and headphones, the audio experience brings sounds and stories to the landscape instructing you where to move and how.
1:30pm – 4:30pm Interchange Workshop
For experienced dancers, teachers and youth dance leaders
A practical workshop exploring site-specific, promenade performance work inspired by Cycle Stories.
