This practical course delivered by Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Dance Faculty aims to provide new teachers or those less experienced in leading dance activities in primary schools with the confidence to deliver fun, accessible and creative dance sessions.

The day will
focus on developing children’s creativity and movement skills in and through
dance. Links to the new national curriculum programmes of study will be
explored and resources including lesson plans and ideas for music provided.
Who for?
Primary school teachers, community dance practitioners and dance artists
working with children in primary schools. Dance artists, teachers and community
dance practitioners working with young people in various youth dance settings
including secondary schools at KS2
