Insight into journalism is an opportunity for secondary school teachers and college tutors to spend a day at the Guardian and find out how a national news media organisation works

In the morning you will meet Guardian journalists and learn about the 24 hour news cycle; talk to news reporters, feature writers, picture and sub editors; understand the role of newspaper advertising, as well as go on a tour of the editorial floors. In the afternoon you will take part in a hands on workshop where you will create a newspaper front page using that days news and then have your work evaluated by an editor.
