This new, two-day course provides a toolkit of resources and information to help you prepare for work as a successful freelance practitioner with young people in the arts.
It examines key areas of current legislation that impact on working as a freelance practitioner with children and young people – including insurance, child protect and health and safety. This course will provide project management tools in marketing, partnership working and evaluation and will signpost to areas of good practice; providing examples of how you can make yourself attractive to prospective partners, funders and commissioning organisations.
This course was developed by Lesley Wood. Lesley has a vast experience as a freelance trainer for Artswork as well as working across the education, arts and cultural sector as a successful freelance practitioner, project manager and consultant.
