Small Charities Coalitio, Tuesday, 11 April 2017 from 10:00 to 13:00

Through
a series of practical exercises this workshop provides an introduction
to media-focused PR for charities and community groups. The main aim of
this workshop is to help charities maximise the impact of their press releases.
You will learn:
- How the media works
- What makes a good story
- How to create powerful press releases that maximise your chances of being noticed by journalists
- Practical ideas for getting free publicity for your cause
This is an interactive half day group clinic, so we ask that participants bring along a press release that we can develop together as part of the session.
