Between the 15th-26th of July 2013 Trinity Laban, Squeaky Gate and Lewisham Music Hub will be working together to deliver a music summer school with a difference at Trinity Laban Music Faculty for local young adults in Lewisham.
We are offering ten music education practitioners the chance to enrol on the highly regarded Community Workshop Leader Accredited Course (Level 3) and help deliver on this Summer School. This offer is being heavily subsidised by the three partners and so each place on the course is being offered at only £50! This Music Workshop Leader course will offer you the opportunity to refine the necessary skills and experience to run successful and safe workshops. The course will give particular focus on the skills needed when working with participants who have a range of special needs and/or are hard to reach.
This is a fantastic professional development opportunity for practitioners to develop and refine their teaching practice and develop their skills in working with a diverse range of young people and adults. You will gain a recognised accredited qualification which will endorse your skills as a music leader to future employers.
