Beatboxing Workshop

Explore how to use vocal percussion as a tool in the classroom to motivate pupils across the wider curriculum.

This course offers the opportunity to learn basic beatboxing and vocal percussion techniques from several different starting points, including text, rhythms, favourite songs and music. Guided by Randolph Matthews you will learn some basic beatboxing rhythms and find out how to create your own rhythms. Explore how to use vocal percussion as a tool in the classroom to motivate pupils across the wider curriculum and to help them explore what they’ve learned in an engaging and fun way.

Audience: This course is suitable for primary and secondary teachers and music leaders.
