The Lewisham Young Mayor for 201415 is Liam Islam and the Deputy Young Mayor is Oneisha Palmer.

Liam Islam,14, attends Deptford Green School and won with 1,210 votes. 28 candidates campaigned to become the voice of the
boroughs youth. 49% of young people eligible to vote turned out, something we should be very proud of, especially as the turn out for the council elections in May was only 37%.
He will be responsible for a budget of £30,000
to spend on priorities identified by local young people.
