Project

Army of Creatives 2024

LEAN's leading Creative Careers Programme, Army of Creatives, is designed to inspire the next generation of young artists by connecting them with local creative professionals. Returning for 2024, we exceeded out targets by delivering 80 sessions across 16 schools, including SEND schools and Pupil Referral units, with the help of 30 incredible artists. This year we also managed to introduce an even more diverse range of creatives into classrooms, including graphic designers, fashion designers, game designers, lighting designers, film makers, photographers, choreographers,  and many more. Brand new for 2024, as part of the project we also designed and delivered  a week-long  creative work experience placement for 15 students from Deptford Green School, which allowed them to gain experience and insights from 5 local arts organisations.      Read our 2024 final activity report here.
