LEAN
is a support organisation for arts education in Lewisham: developing,
connecting and advocating for the sector; this includes signposting and advice
via free 1to1 sessions, bulletins, website and twitter. LEAN lead on projects
including Arts Council England funded Lewisham Live Festival. Our beneficiaries
are
artists and those who employ them (teachers, nurseries, health professionals
etc.). Our support leads to improved skills, knowledge, and partnerships
resulting an increased and higher quality, arts offer for children and young
people.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative person
to assist our small team with marketing and general administration.
This role would suit someone who has:
- An interest in the arts and
arts learning - Marketing skills,
particularly the use of social media - The ability to use all
Microsoft Office programmes - An interest in monitoring
and evaluation and the keenness to discover how it is used in the arts - Enthusiasm, creativity,
innovation and curiosity - The ability to communicate with
a range of different people and strong written skills - A commitment to contributing
to a small team and undertaking a wide range of different tasks.

Suggested time
commitment:
Approximately 19
days (a day is equivalent to 7hrs) between November 2014 and End of March
2015, to be agreed.
