The Senior Education Department Manager is responsible for the administration and management of the education department under the leadership of the Director of Learning and Public Affairs. Candidates must have experience of managing a team of paid staff and volunteers, preferably in an arts or educational setting. The candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills and an exceptional eye for detail. They must have experienced budget management in previous roles and have an understanding of fundraising. This role requires someone to lead a team to develop and deliver a wide range of education initiatives both at DPG and in the wider community. This is an administrative post that requires the post holder to have an excellent understanding of administrative procedure, database management and Microsoft Word and Adobe design packages. To excel this individual needs to be highly driven and able to work to deadlines. They need to be able to work independently and efficiently at all times and understand the importance of Art and Heritage Education.

Salary- £27 – 29,000
