Lewisham Youth Theatre (LYT) is recruiting a Programmes Administrator to assist with the producing of our participatory programmes for young people aged 3-24. A key role in the organisation, the Programmes Administrator helps ensure the smooth running of our programmes by supporting communications, financial administration, monitoring and office operations. The role will suit a driven team player with an understanding of the key role good arts administration plays in supporting young peoples development.
SALARY: £22,000- £23,000 per annum (pro rata)
HOURS: 3 days (21 hours) per week
CLOSING DATE: 12 noon, Monday 3rd February, 2020

ABOUT LEWISHAM YOUTH THEATRE (LYT)
For over 30 years, LYT has provided free drama and performance projects with young people aged 3-24 who live or learn in the London Borough of Lewisham. All programmes are free to young people. Participation is based on commitment rather than creative ability, and participants must not currently take part in other out of school drama activity.
We work with over 200 young people a year in sustained theatre projects, and reach an additional 400+ through workshops and outreach. We believe that participation in theatre leads to the development and empowerment of young people. We commit to ensuring that this opportunity is available to all young people in Lewisham and that no-one should be excluded because of economic or social background.
