The post holder will co-ordinate Music Service and Music Hub after school and weekend music programmes, projects and live events as well as developing effective music learning progression routes for young musicians in Lewisham.

This part-time, temporary post would suit a music teaching practitioner who has substantial experience of leading instrumental or vocal lessons for young people as well as experience of leading ensembles. A highly skilled musician and inspirational teacher, you will also work well as a member of the Lewisham Music Service Management Team. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are essential for this post.

Other duties include:

· Monitoring the quality of teaching and learning
· Facilitating the sharing of good practice
· Delivering and co-ordinating continuing professional development

Salary details and further information
Soulbury 3-6, £34,263 – £37,545 pro rata pa
Term time plus 6 weeks (45 weeks per year) 21hrs per week
Pay according to qualifications and experience
Temporary contract: January 2012 to 31 March 2015.
