The Arts Council England funded Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy Consortium, which will launch officially on Saturday 13th July 2013, has started a search for entrepreneurially-minded graduates to be part of its inaugural fundraising Fellowship programme.
The Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy Fellowship programme will offer 11 entrepreneurial self-starters with a passion for the arts the chance to take part in an intensive 12-month training programme, based at host organisations in London, Leeds, Manchester, Gateshead and Liverpool. The programme, which will be the first of its kind in the UK, has been created as a partnership with the DARE Fundraising Academy, a unique collaboration between Opera North and the University of Leeds, and London-based development and fundraising enterprise Cause4, together with leading arts and education organisations across the north of England and London.
There are 11 Fellowships on offer, at the following host organisations: Opera North, Royal Northern College of Music, Sage Gateshead, Tate Liverpool, the Freeword Centre, Dance UK, the Barbican Centre, Sadlers Wells theatre, the Roundhouse, Whitechapel Gallery and A New Direction.
The deadline for applications is Monday 1st July 2013.
