Deptford X is a charity which is run day to day by a small executive team
and governed by a board of trustees. We are actively seeking to develop our
board capability specifically in the areas of PR & communications, finance,
programme development and fundraising.
If you have a background in one or more of these areas and are passionate about
helping build upon the successes of Deptford X, then please contact us with a
CV and a covering letter describing how you believe you might be able to
contribute, by the end of April.
NB: This is a voluntary role, and therefore has no remuneration. We
particularly welcome applications from people that reflect the diversity of our
Headway SE London and NW Kent Ltd (SELNWK) is an expanding and dynamic
local charity. We have been providing
support, information and services to people with a brain injury and to their
family and unpaid carers for over 30 years. Based in South East London and
serving seven local authority areas, we employ over 15 permanent staff. We are
a stand-alone charity, affiiliated to the National Organisation – Headway UK.
Board comprises 10 unpaid Trustees, including a representative of the service
users and a representative of the carers of the service users. Each trustee also participates in one or more
of 5 working groups to manage strategy, finance, fund raising, HR and clinical
Headway SELNWK is looking for an additional trustee with experience of managing a charity and charity governance to provide further support and advice to the CEO.
current Chair Person is due to retire, so the Board is also looking for a
replacement. If you have a background in Charity management we would be interested in hearing from you; whether or not you are intersted in the role of Chair Person.
