The aim of the module is to ensure that young people at risk of low attainment, disengagement or educational exclusion achieve the best musical, educational and wider outcomes.

This module will establish effective models of partnership-working between schools and specialist music education providers in order to enable young people at risk of low attainment, disengagement or educational exclusion to achieve the best musical, educational and wider outcomes. It will also promote a collective understanding of high quality music education, stimulating fresh thinking in music and education practice.
Some of the eligibility criteria
Each project must be a partnership between a school (or partnership of schools) and an external music organisation/provider as appropriate. The lead applicant can be a school or another organisation.
Delivery should take place both in and outside of school times and settings for the duration of the project.
Lifespan
Main delivery is expected to commence in September 2014 and run for four academic years (i.e. until July 2018).
Guideline request amount
Awards will be made of up to £30,000 per year, per project, for up to four years.
