Posted: 02/12/2015

14-18 NOW WW1 Centenary Art Commissions is the major cultural
programme taking place across the United Kingdom to mark the centenary
of the First World War.  We invite contemporary artists from the UK and
around the world to explore the resonance of the First World War today.
14-18 NOW is an independent unit hosted within Imperial War Museums.  www.1418now.org.uk

Working with cultural organisations across England, Wales, Scotland
and Northern Ireland, 14-18 NOW commissions large-scale special
projects. These are selected to encourage people from every community to
reflect on how the First World War has shaped today’s world and our
attitudes to conflict now.

We are inviting tenders from consultants to develop 14-18 NOW’s
Education and Engagement Strategy which will cover the period from
mid-2015 to the end of the centenary period in November 2018.  This is a
fixed term contract for the development of the Strategy, not for its
implementation.

The consultant will work with the 14-18 NOW team to develop the
Strategy including aims, principles, approaches, potential resources and
measures of success.  The Strategy will reflect the complex framework
within which 14-18 NOW works.

Tenders are invited from people or organisations with prior
experience of developing and implementing successful education and
engagement strategies in the arts and/or heritage sectors.

For further information about the contract and how to tender please visit www.iwm.org.uk/corporate/jobs or email info@1418now.org.uk.

The deadline for receipt of tenders is 10am on 2nd March.  Interviews will be held on 12th March.

"Just to say a huge thanks ... I am looking forward to progressing with this project thanks to your support, advice and guidance"
