A vacancy from Sound Connections:
The successful candidate will lead on coordinating Wired4Music, the
music council for young Londoners aged 16-25, and the Wired4Music
Manifesto, a unique campaign which gives young people a voice to shape
their own musical futures (www.wired4music.co.uk). The Programme
Coordinator will also coordinate the Wired4Music Leadership Programme,
supporting young musical entrepreneurs aged 18-25 and support the wider
membership to develop their own musical ideas.
Alongside this, the post-holder will support across a range of Sound
Connections programmes including coordinating artist networks, projects,
seminars and consultations. In this varied and exciting role, they will
work with a small and dedicated team, contributing to planning,
communications and fundraising. You will have substantial previous
experience of coordinating arts or cultural programmes for young people,
including facilitating or leading groups. Self-motivated and organised,
you will be comfortable working in an office environment and out at
projects, meetings and events. You will be confident communicating with a
diverse range of young people, practitioners, partners and funders. You
will demonstrate excellent written skills and a flair for social media,
understanding the possibilities of digital technologies. An interest in
youth voice and campaigning is desirable. This is a unique role working
on a one-of-a-kind programme and we are looking for a candidate who is
passionate about unlocking young peoples creativity and championing
their role in the cultural landscape.

Details: £26,500 pro rata (£21,200 per annum) and holiday of 25 days pro rata (20 days per annum)
