Non Stop Action is a young, fast growing company that provides sports & dance coaching to young people in the Barnet area, both through delivery of the PE curriculum and through extra-curricular clubs. Its expansion has created the need for additional coaching & teaching posts. Our success is down to a small but highly professional and committed team and to continue our growth, we are looking for some highly skilled dance professionals to join us.
We are looking for outstanding coaches/teachers who are capable of delivering the Physical Education curriculum in Dance and/or Gymnastics within primary schools. All employees will have a personal CPD (Continuing Professional Development) programme that includes a minimum of 3 days per year in-house training.
We have a number of lead instructor roles, which will be full-time contracts with salaries ranging from £17,000 to £25,000 depending on qualifications and experience. We also have assistant instructor roles, which will be term time only contracts for 39 weeks each year and will be at the pro-rata salary of £12,750 – £14,750. Additional paid holiday work may be offered with term-time contracts. All new contracts will initially be offered fixed-term for one year starting February 1st 2016.
To apply, candidates must:
Hold an Associate level teaching qualification in dance with a recognised awarding body(preferably RAD/IDTA or equivalent*)
Possess good communication skills in English
Have experience of and enjoy working with children
Hold a valid driving license and have access to a car
Be enthusiastic, professional & reliable
Equivalency might be provided by a degree in dance education. Please see website below.
