Grants are available for registered charities with innovative ideas to deliver basic English language training to the UKs hardest to reach communities.

There is total funding pot of £140,000. Grants of either £7,500 or £10,000 are available.
Creative English is a project designed and run by FaithAction in association with Queen Mary University. The programme is funded by the Department of Communities and Local Government as part of its £6 million investment in teaching English to the most isolated groups in England.
The Creative English Innovation Fund offers funding to registered charities, including faith and community groups, who want to use innovative methods to teach basic English to non-English speakers. The participants should come away with an increased knowledge of everyday vocabulary and an increased sense of confidence to use conversational English in their daily life in this country.
Groups must be able to show how their projects will help grow confidence, integration, and communication.
Projects should be delivered in England, with preference for projects delivered in the following areas:
