This research publication has been funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation and is a contribution by the Cultural Learning Alliance to the current debate about the transformative role played by the arts and heritage in the lives of children and young people. It was developed through national consultation with the CLAs members which revealed that they wanted evidence to make the case for cultural learning.
