A day of discussion sessions, case studies, fringe events and an exhibition of Goldsmiths research and new learning that reaches beyond academia into the wider world.

The morning will feature seminars on making a difference through practice-based research, external perspectives on partnering with universities, the art and science of measuring impact, and public engagement.
In the afternoon, leading Goldsmiths academics will present and take questions on topics including social justice, conflict resolution, health and well-being, shaping policy and creative applications of new technologies.
In the evening there will be a keynote from Professor Sir Adrian Smith, Vice-Chancellor of the University of London, followed by a panel Q&A. Speakers include:
Professor Geoff Crossick, Director of the AHRC Cultural Value Project
Hasan Bakhshi, Director of Creative Economy at NESTA
David Sweeney, Director of Research, Innovation and Skills at HEFCE
Baroness Morris of Yardley, Chair of Goldsmiths Council
Professor Jane Powell, Pro-Warden for Research and Enterprise, Goldsmiths University
This will be followed by a food and drinks reception in the newly-renovated St James Church, with live music and performances.
