Event

‘Exploring Early Years Repertoire’ with Jane Parker

Sound Connections workshop for early years singing.

Date: 12/11/2013 – 12/11/2013

Time: 14:00

This practical workshop will explore ways of using music with young children age 2 to 5. It will draw on ideas from research on very young children’s musical development, and be supported by lots of examples of play – with the voice, with movement, with instruments and with ways of watching and responding to childrens’ musical cues. You will take part in experiences that build on what young children can do, and have plenty of opportunities to learn new material and repeat old favourites in a supportive environment. You will go home with examples of songs and other activities and lots of helpful pointers about resources and further ideas. Tuesday 12 November 20132.00pm – 5.00pmAmnesty International – Human Rights Action Centre, 17-25 New Inn Yard, London EC2A 3EAhttp://www.sound-connections.org.uk/events/exploring-early-years-repertoire
