An exciting, interactive conference day and performance evening primarily aimed at EAL (English as an additional language) staff in primary & secondary schools, ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) lecturers working with young people & adults and all participatory arts practitioners.

This is an innovative project for newly arrived migrants and refugees to develop their language skills, confidence and integration through drama and the arts.
The day will involve presentations, workshops and debate, exploring creative approaches to learning English and supporting the needs of migrants and refugees. It will provide a platform for Rewrites Creative ESOL programme as well as showcasing the work of other practitioners and providers delivering work in this area.
The evening will include talks and performances by project participants. The event will be a rich opportunity to share knowledge and experience across the fields of language learning and the arts.
