Do Participatory Artists Benefit from Accreditation?

Accreditation: an integral element to the whole learning process or a prescriptive and exclusive mode of learning

Date: 26/04/2024 – 26/04/2024

Time:07:00

Confirmed speakers so far are: Veronica Jobbins, Head of Learning and Participation (Dance) Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance; Sylvan Baker from People’s Palace Project and a Collaborative Doctorate student at Queen Mary’s; and Damien Hebron, Director, London Arts and Health Forum. The session will be chaired by Sally Taylor, Executive Director, The Culture Capital Exchange.

This free platform event will explore the optimum learning pathway for artists working in participatory settings, interrogating the role of accreditation in adding to our understanding of participatory practice, and raising the status and profile of participative practice.

Please join us for a two hour debate followed by a drinks reception and an opportunity to continue the dialogue and network.
