Sound Connections Present:
This masterclass, led by synaesthesia-inspired expert practitioners BitterSuite, will encourage participants to challenge the existing definitions and models of community music projects by exploring and playing with multi-sensory and synesthetic ways of running workshops.
Working as collaborators we will test out, critique and push the creative ideas from BitterSuites multi-sensory community work in music. We will get stuck into concepts like synaesthesia and graphic notation, considering how melody smells, tonality looks, rhythm feels and pitch tastes.
The workshop will be a collaborative session where as a group, we play with these concepts and discover new ideas and ways of working.
