Understanding the Child: Early Years and Your Creative Practice

The aim of this three-hour session is to provide practitioners with specific early years development knowledge, which they can then, through a workshop, apply to their practice.

Posted: 10/03/2022

9:15am – 1pm
Tuesday 8th July 2014

Covering
the three age groups of babies, toddlers and 3-5 the session will
introduce child development, attachment and relationships, stages of
play, and policy guidance for the age groups and will raise
considerations for running creative workshops/provision for them. There will also
be plenty of time for discussion and handouts to take away.

This training may suit early years practitioners or creative practitioners wishing to apply child development to creative provision for the under 5’s (for more information please see below).
