The October Gallery is pleased to offer our first in-depth course on in-gallery teaching strategies.

Over this four-hour session, we will:
– Provide a practical toolkit for you to get started.
– Explore discursive and non-discursive approaches to in-gallery education.
– Demonstrate the approach through practical activities, including a teaching lab.
– And share creative techniques to respond directly to your collections and bring them to life for your audiences.
The course will be run by Ney da Silva-Reed, an arts, museum and gallery educator with over 12 years experience teaching in museums and galleries in London and New York. It is designed is for all museum professionals with an interest in exploring techniques for teaching in gallery spaces.
