It provides tools to work with dance creatively, and offers frameworks for developing good practice in the field of dnce and mental health. The physical and practical workshop will lead to discussion on creativity, process and mental health awareness.
The course is aimed at dance practitioners or teachers wishing to explore working with groups of vulnerable adults with mental health issues or those wishing to refresh their ideas. The day will also be applicable to those working with children and young people who might also have mental heath issues
Tutors on the day are Hoot: Gerry Turvey and Kim Gregory.
