StoneCrabs Young Directors Theatre Training Programme ’10 – ’11

StoneCrabs Theatre is looking for creative, committed, and enthusiastic young people to take part in our Young Directors Programme. Not only will you work with leading theatre practitioners – you will present a final practical project at The Albany Theatre in South East London.

The programme offers a series of practical workshops and tutorials towards developing skills and exploring the nature of a director’s work as well as production, arts management and backstage work.  The sessions will be led by StoneCrabs Artistic Directors, Franko Figueiredo and Kwong Loke with invited theatre practitioners to explore an international variety of theatre traditions and techniques to assist the participants in unlocking their creative potential.

Practitioners will include actor Tereza Araujo (Boal techniques), actor Ruth Posner (actor/movement work), Kumiko Mendl (LeCoq movement), amongst other guests.
