Seminar on recognising and supporting young children’s musicality

Sound Connections and the London Early Years Music Network invite you to this seminar on Thursday, 7 March 2013 from 10:00 to 16:00 focussing on 3-5 year olds.

The day will give music leaders working with young children and practitioners from early years settings the opportunity to hear a range of presentations, discuss, debate and network.

Suitable for individuals and organisations supporting and working in early years; music specialists or non-music specialists – just £45 including lunch.

Presentations include:

• Keynote speech from Linda Pound, early years consultant and author of the very popular “How Children Learn” book series

• Premiere of the new LEYMN commissioned film – ‘What’s That Noise? – understanding and supporting musical development in early years children’ with Linda Bance, Marjorie Ouvry and John Webb

• Practical session on using music across the EYFS with Linda Bance
