Come along and explore sea songs and shanty singing!

 

The Royal Borough of Greenwich invites you to join us for a
FREE Continuing Professional Development (CPD) session exploring Sea Songs and
Shanties and how to teach them, hosted by the Royal Museums Greenwich. 

 

The English Folk Dance and Song Society have created ‘Sea
Songs & Shanties for Tall Ships – A Maritime Folk Song Resource For
Royal Greenwich’,
to celebrate the Rendez-vous Tall Ships Regatta 2017,
setting out from the Royal Borough in April 2017.

 

In addition the National Maritime Museum will provide
information about the Trafalgar Tales teaching resource and Making Waves
activities and events. 

 

 

If you are a local teacher, choir or community group leader
etc. then book a place now and join us in September for this exciting
afternoon.
