Outside In is a charity which supports artists who face barriers to the art world due to health, disability, social circumstance or isolation. Artists who feel they meet our criteria can create an online gallery showcasing their work and artist statement.Once they have joined Outside In, artists can get involved with the many opportunities Outside In provide, such as exhibitions, residencies, commissions and training.

We are running an Artist Support Day in Lee, supporting artists to create online galleries on our site. During a one hour 1-1 we work with artists to photograph their work, write an artist statement and creating an online gallery on our website. This is completely free!

This will take place on Monday 5th August from 10.00 – 16.30 at Arts Network, 8 – 12  Eltham Road, Lee, London SE12 8TF.

We ask artists to bring 5 pieces of work to photograph, we can take high quality images of their art work and advise on how to write an artist statement.

We also have the opportunity for artists to submit work for possible inclusion in our national exhibition with the theme of Environments. This exhibition will take place in London in the Autumn.

Artists can book a one to one session with one of our staff for an hour. To book we ask people to email hannah.whitlock@outsidein.org.uk.  Numbers are limited so places will be given on a first come first served basis.
