Musical Futures new training/CPD programme, delivered by experienced music teachers who have found their own individual and unique ways of applying Musical Futures, is now open for bookings.

Attending a MF training/CPD day will enable you to understand first hand how Musical Futures can be implemented, through hands-on practical workshops and discussions with staff and students, and provide an opportunity to network and share best practice and resources.
CPD courses for 2011/2012 fall into the following categories:
* Introduction to Musical Futures: practical suggestions, ideas, guidance and resources to enable you to begin MF in your classroom
* Applying Musical Futures: An in-depth look at how MF can be incorporated into existing schemes of work
* Transition into Musical Futures: an exploration of how primary music learning can link to MF approaches at secondary school, using the MF Passenger resource materials
* MF Live: An opportunity to observe a MF lesson, and have an informal discussion with staff and students afterwards
Courses have already been announced in: Northumberland, Durham, Cumbria, Leeds, Harrogate, Sheffield, Manchester, Preston, Leicester, Peterborough, Aylesbury, London, Norfolk, West Sussex, Kent and Devon.
All training and CPD is free of charge, and open to anybody from classroom teachers and peripatetic teachers, to Music Service/Local Authority staff, community musicians, students, and other arts and education professionals.
