Marketing Your Project

Part Four of the MusicLeader Project Management Course aims to provide a guide to marketing a youth arts project.

This course is running as part of 5 Project Management courses, however each session stands alone and can be attended on its own.

The course will cover:

 • Why a project needs marketing

• What/Who the target audiences/markets are

• What marketing will work

• Building a marketing strategy

 By the end of the course, trainees will be able to:

 • Understand how to go about defining exactly who and or what the project target markets are

• Promote the project to those markets, and understand different methods of marketing

This course is aimed at arts project managers or those involved in running and marketing for their own project. No previous experience is necessary.
