Discovery’s day-long workshops at LSO St Luke’s aim to encourage primary school
teachers and other staff teaching music to use a creative and hands-on approach
to western classical music. Led by LSO animateur Rachel Leach and LSO
musicians, the days are designed specifically for those who are musically
confident or have existing musical experiences, taking different approaches to
class composition, using western classical music as a stimulus.

Dates: Composing in the Classroom
– Monday 12th October, 10.00am – 3.00pm & Access Classical – Monday 16th November,
10.00am – 3.00pm
Cost to school: £75
+ VAT per Creative Day per teacher
