iPads and iPods are the ultimate tools to support learning in the early years, because they are mobile and easy to use for outdoor learning. In this session you will be introduced to the different functions of the devices and find out how different schools and settings are integrating their use across the curriculum as a way for children to create podcasts, animations and stories and to reflect on their learning outdoors, on visits and as part of classroom activities. You will also learn how to use the devices to record and store observations and assessments, rationalising the record-keeping process.
