IBM Charity Skills Masterclass Series – Selling Techniques

This is an interactive workshop provide participants with an understanding of key sales techniques, verbal skills to carry out these techniques and how to implement these techniques to sell your charity to funders, volunteers and supporters.

Many non-sales jobs, including a number of not for profit roles, involve some form of ‘selling’ to a wide range of stakeholders these days.  Whether it be approaching funders or trying to recruit more volunteers to support your cause, there are wide variety of situations that require effective ‘selling skills’. This workshop will:

  • Introduce a number of key sales techniques that are useful for a number of audiences within the charity sector. 
  • Look at how to improve the verbal skills to carry out these techniques.
  • Practice role playing and implementing these new found techniques

All attendees will be paired up with an IBM project manager who will work with you throughout the workshop. This will help you to apply the day’s learning to your individual organisation.
