Fully subsidised professional development programme for KS3 music teachers

Teach Through Music is delivered by a new world class music education partnership formed by Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Sound Connections, Barbican, Guildhall School of Music & Drama, University of Greenwich and Trinity College London. It draws on the resources and expertise of leading training and cultural organisations to support teachers in delivering a dynamic, progressive curriculum of active music making, listening and creativity for all young Londoners.

This course is for:

  • KS3 Classroom Music Teachers
  • Music hub staff, peripatetic teachers and others where involved in teaching or curriculum development at KS3
  • Special events for school leaders, Hub managers, cultural organisations and others
  • All London schools – state and independent

Cost: The programme is fully subsidised to all London state and independent schools until July 2015. Teach Through Music will offer each registered teacher one day’s teaching cover for their school.
