About the training:
-
It will be run by Good Vibrations, a national charity with an excellent reputation in criminal justice and mental health settings. See academic research on Good Vibrations’ impact and approach.
-
You will immerse yourself in the experience of being a participant in a condensed, typical Good Vibrations course.
-
You will observe an experienced facilitator modelling a range of facilitation techniques and experience the impact on group dynamics and musical outcomes.
-
You’ll have fun and will get the opportunity to get to know other practitioners working in challenging circumstances.
-
You’ll get recordings of the music you produce on the day.
-
You’ll learn a new skill – to play Javanese Gamelan!
-
We’ll share new Royal College of Music research on our facilitation approach – the theory behind what you experience on the day.
-
You will come out feeling inspired about the potential of incorporating the new facilitation techniques you’ve learnt into your practice.
