A New Direction is delighted to invite cultural organisations to our second year of Small Change®.We are all learning to work in a world that is full on, and while this is opening up some amazing opportunities it can also leave us feeling a bit frazzled. This programme is designed to help you explore change and transition and how it impacts on your work.
The programme is delivered in partnership with Alchemy Research & Consultancy and Dr. Dawn Langley.
Deadline for expressions of interest: 5pm, 7 September 2018

- Are you full of ideas for developing cultural education but not sure where to start?
- Do you want to help change cultural education in London but feel that you can only have a limited impact on your own?
- Do you feel like you are running flat out just to stand still?
- Does the thought of yet more change feel overwhelming?
Small Change® is based on an action learning method and turns the usual approach to change on its head, in an approach facilitated and developed by Dr.Dawn Langley. Instead of focussing on big goals that can feel daunting, it encourages you to think about the small things you can do right now at no or low cost to improve the way you work. The programme is designed for up to 30 individuals to undertake a series of manageable, progressive changes in their practice, that are self-identified and supported.
The approach is based on a simple principle – small changes can have a big impact.
The programme will take place across the followingfortnightly meetings from 2-5-pm
-17 September 2018 Museum of London (Garden Room), 150 London Wall, London, EC2Y 5HN
