This course, led by a professional poet, gives staff an extensive toolkit through which to work confidently and creatively with poetry and spoken word with their classes. The course looks at a variety of different forms of poetry and includes a chance to see a performance of a poetry show at Half Moon.

Sessions are FREE to staff at schools in Tower Hamlets thanks to funding from Tower Hamlets Arts Music Education Service (THAMES). A limited number of places are also available for staff from schools in other boroughs and educators working in London at a fee of £90+VAT.
Reduced fees are offered to PGCE students or teachers at partner schools of our academic partners (RCSSD, UEL, Queen Mary, IOE, Goldsmiths and LSBU).
