Tempting Failure is about
finding ways to programme that which is challenging, risky and potentially
avoided by mainstream venues.
How do we embrace issues surrounding access when what is being programmed may
demand more from the audience, venues, producers to begin with?
Clara Giraud Project Manager of Unlimited (delivered by Shape and Artsadmin)
in London, is joined by a section of this years TF2016 artists and producers,
including Rhiannon Armstrong, Kamil Guenatri (pictured), Rosana Cade,
Francesca Steele and Helena Sands to creatively open, challenge and discuss
issues surrounding access and performance art. Creating a dialogue together
this talk will consider what practices are and can be and what it means to
engage with wider audiences.
The talk will be FREE but booking in advance is essential.
