Uniquely, Extend is a leadership programme focused on supporting the engagement and participation workforce in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Developed over the past 14 years, the Extend programme draws on a coaching and leadership model to empower engagement and participation professionals to influence within their organisations, the cultural sector and beyond.
Extend continues to be informed by a commitment to empowering engagement and participation professionals; exploring leadership opportunities through tailored training. Through the duration of the programme, Extend participants become equipped to influence the sector’s development and help to ensure that learning is embedded in arts and cultural organisations. Extend is cross art form and welcomes applicant’s resident to England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, working in the arts, museums, libraries, archives and heritage settings.
