To support educators in adapting A New Direction resource activities to their settings, there will be a series of free CPD sessions with the artists who developed the activities.

The online sessions will:

Offer guidance on putting the Recovery Curriculum principles into practice

Enable you to discuss how to adapt the activities to suit your Key Stage and cohort, make them more guided, or more student-led with the artist and other educators

Explore the ways the arts can support students wellbeing and readjustment to school life

Provide an opportunity to network and share advice with colleagues
The sessions are:
5th October – Relationships, drama focus
7th October – Transparent Curriculum, visual art focus
12th October – Community, poetry focus
14th October – Metacognition, storytelling focus
19th October – Space, design focus
