Lata Nobes (Albany Young Creatives) and Jane Hendrie enjoyed an inspiring morning at Millwall Football Ground for the SELCHP Community Fund award ceremony.

Lata (Albany Young Creatives) and I had a wonderful time meeting the staff of SELCHP, other beneficiaries for this year’s Community Fund and hearing about all the other fantastic projects that the fund is supporting. It was brilliant to meet our old friends London Bubble, who also received support, and make new friends too. We were also given a lovely lunch.
Lata is part of the Albany Young Creatives who have undertaken every aspect of devising and producing a performance as part of Lewisham Live. She spoke eloquently at the ceremony about the project she is involved in and the difference it has made to her.
Their show, Move Shake Mango: A night of music, dance, spoken word & film, questions what it
means to be part of the millennial generation. See them on Facebook and book tickets for tomorrow night’s performance (Saturday 1 April)
ALL THE LEWISHAM LIVE PARTNERS ARE EXTREMELY GRATEFUL TO SELCHP’s SUPPORT FOR THIS YEAR’S FESTIVAL.
