MakeBelieve Arts announces new patron

MakeBelieve Arts has announced that their esteemed patron, Vivian Gussin Paley, will be joined by their new UK patron, Michael Rosen.

Posted: 05/01/2012

MakeBelieve Arts turned 10 in February 2012 and so decided it was time to look for a UK patron; someone whose work the organisation valued and who they would be able to build a relationship with over the coming years.

MakeBelieve invited Michael Rosen to be their new patron after reading his blog and his numerous articles on the importance of creativity in the lives of all children. They said, “His writings and the opinions he expresses, link so clearly with our own beliefs and core values. We also love his stories and poems and felt a strong synergy with his ability to engage children with reading, writing and telling stories through make-believe.”
