Last week Natalie Clarke, Lewisham Live Co-ordinator, visited a Live Composers rehearsal with Deptford Green School, and got behind the scenes.

With the help of teachers and a professional mentor, students were given the support they needed to create brand new music, which was performed last Friday on a professional stage at the Albany Deptford.
Natalie says, “It
was good to see such talented young people confidently talking about
their pieces, making decisions on how parts should be played and not
being afraid to trial new things.”
